it matters cos it means they can lose a battle even if they dont die, this takes up there time, so they just become time wasters, and for example, tyranids will breed faster than the casualties they would lose in a battle against necrons, so their ineffiency in close combat means other armies become more powerful.

What does it matter? They have all the time in the Universe.

If that keeps happening though, they will never get anywhere, so that is why it matters, and this way the C'tan would get pissed off cos they wouldnt be killing much, and the tyranids would cleanse the galaxy of life meaning there are no more souls for the C'tan to harvest, theres another reason why it matters.

What youse are forgetting is before the Necron's enemys get to H2H, most of the unit/squad are killed. Then. Necrons just rely on numbers, and their considerable toughness. Even if the survivors did cut through the Necron squad, they'd be shot dead by another 2 seconds later.

Ash has a point though... necrons have all the time they want...they can just keep coming back and back and back

:gpost: The Necrons have eternity to do as they wish, they could just go to sleep for another thousand years, and then awaken again and go on another crusade. There is no killing them. End of! Nomatter who wins a fight, the Necrons are always "there" at the end. Whether in the battle or hiding out somewhere, they won't / don't die. I rest my case!
