I have recently restarted my chaos army, i wanted to make an army around something that screamed death and despair in the face of my enemies.... so i did what hasnt been done before (That I know of), ive created the first traitor grey knight terminator, after reading the demon hunters novels, i decided that it is possible for a grey knight to turn traitor, after all are just men in there core.... im currently writing the story revolving around him and my local games workshop is eagerly awaiting my model to be finished, im not the best moddler in the world but i think the way i built him makes the message clear...
I still need to repaint him as ive messed up the first color attempt horribly, had second thoughts lol, ill update once im done with him, again hes not the best modded model but i think he still looks pretty bad ass! hes gona be the chaos lord for my army =D
I kind of procrastinate alot so dont expect the guy to be done anytime too soon, as i also got my senior prom and such this weekend, so earlies he will be done is next weekend, not this one.
if anyone has any question ill try to answer as best i can, and ill try to get a picture of the current model as soon as cover him with paint thinner some time tommorow maybe =D
Grey Knights can't be turned, and there have been tons of people to do armys themed from it.
actually, thats not true, get rid of there psychic abilities with say... a collar of khorne... and then stick them in a room with a strong tzeetch follower, and they can be "turned" they will just tunr crazy then u got a chaos grey knight =D its just one guy though lol, usin him as my chaos lord, and my friend is mad as hell cause hes got grey knights =D
No, they can't turn. That is the one of their parts of being created.
Considering the role of the Grey Knights, potential recruits are put through even more stringent trials than other Space Marine Neophytes. The recruits are drawn from across the galaxy and brought to Titan for testing. The most advanced bio-engineering and psycho-surgery available is utilised to condition the Neophytes, and each recruit must pass the six hundred and sixty six Rituals of Detestation, to prove that he is capable of withstanding horrors that would break even the greatest of 'normal' Space Marines. Upon success, the recruit also has the majority of their memories and personality erased1, to better ensure their absolute and unwavering loyalty to the Emperor. One of the main criteria for selection is that the recruit must show great psychic potential, as the entire Chapter is made up of psykers. Once accepted into the chapter and undergoing the standard process to transform into a member of the Adeptus Astartes, the new Grey Knight is also implanted with silver purity wards under his skin which cover his entire body.
I agree a turned gey knight borders the impossible. And dark adeptus is definitely not the best of books that tackle the fluff. That's definitely on the weaker side there. And I'd also agree that it's been done to death.
But you could try making chaos sisters. Definitely less common in TT. Partially because I'd say that sisters get played even less than GK's.
Have them as Slaanesh sisters, you get to paint boobs then and everyone loves boobs.
Haha! might take you guys up on that!
Well I was more thinking either followers of Maalal or Sisters of corn..uh Khorne, but she who thirsts works as well.
Might be interesting to borrow the pre-heresy Emperor's children paintscheme for them.
Don't be daft, Malal worshippers never fight together, it is extreamly rare that even a group would band together and fight.
Sons of malice... There's a high chance that they are in fact Maalalites
