which is it? n how is it formed in their weapons? what does it say in the book about this one? last question, how does it surpass Tau technology when it's more ancient then Eldar? only thing i read was that their ships in space r a lot faster then anyother race when passing through the warp (*still confused on what the warp is*). someone clear this up n unraval the mystery?
I don't know what you mean by which is it? But basically their technology is Gauss Technology, which strips atoms away, layer by layer, towards the gun. They are more technologically advanced than the Tau as they were aided by the C'Tan, or Star Gods, during their war with "The Old Ones" and the Eldar and NO ONE else, of any race has been able to replicate their technology. And also their ships are stunningly fast and agile, equipped with propulsion systems which are capable of travelling interstellar distances without entering the Warp - how this is achieved, no one knows. Hope this helps >_
Thats some scary shit about the traverling, Lets hope tau dont find out about that.
there's an article about the Necrons and their weaponry at
(sorry its not hyperlinked but i cant figure out how to do it)
There's also a good deal of data about Warp in...let's say, every 40k book... :D
sry about the first question, doesnt make sense. so someone has to replicate the necrons technology to surpass theirs? hmm makes sense hey yakkuru, nice avatar, did u know that u cant get that statue in mission editor? meaning with all those words on that will or paper he's holding? i just had to get that off my chest.
necrons were one of the first sentinent races. they discovered the ctan who then gave them gause tech to rape the old ones. and their ships move so fast because they use the phase technology. im pretty sure im right when i say that it makes them kind of in and out of the material universe. and the warp is a swirling relm of emotion. created when our universe was created, it is home to all the warp cretures including the chaos gods. it used to be peacful but thanks to the war in hevan, it became the bubbling swirling turmoil it is now. just think of an alternate universe that dosnt really have any solid, material things in it, but can really screw up your day in a heartbeat.
Do C'tan ever travel witht the necrons because i know that c'tan instantly would die if they interd the warp. And id be more worryed about necrons now that there all reawakening then tau i mean yah tau can own but they dont always want to fight if it can be avoided the necrons want to kill every thing
so the warp is the eye of terror correct?
I thought the Necrons didn't travel through the warp. Don't they bend space so instead of going in a straight line from point A to B they bend space so A and B are right next to eachother, kinda like a wormhole? And if I'm correct the eye of terror is where the boundries between the warp and real space are weakest, which is why its a haven for chaos.
