Eldar > Nids hah for skimmers and your close combat army hitting us on 6's :D

I actually played with a nid army and they're really fun to use, I would collect one my self but money and motivation is something i don't have seeing as i'm trying to get my dark elves up and running.

'Nids are spectacular at the art of exploding on the slightest poke. :D But yea, they are fun to play with when you can laugh manically at your opponent because he can't find his troops amongst the dozens of 'Nids.

Nids were the first 40k race I collected. I loved playing with them, and as I got better, I found I got more fun out of them. There is nothing more pleasurable than charging that heavily upgraded Land Raider that your opponent spent loads on with 5-10 S10 attacks from a massive carnifex! And Winged tyrants soar around the battlefield filling in for those fallen warriors and taking care of most deep striking or infiltrating units.

Nids will always have a place in my heart. :)

Maybe you have missed my Army List thread, I'ma Bug Guy true and through.

Nothing is more satisfying than seeing a horde of Termagaunts get shot by a Vindicator, not run away cuz of Synapse, and get lucky and kill it the following turn with Glancing 6's. Yeah 6 Points > ~150 (?) Points. I'd hit that. :p

Though, I am not active here as much as I like...My main 40k hang spot is 40kforums.com, if any of you's wanna join up.

And despite this, I want to start Necrons if I am still into 40k after college.

As for skimmers? Bah, our one weakness, and only if you are smart and don't come near us!

Exile, that Carnifex, lemme guess, cost more points than the Land Raider, yes?

And lastly but not least, bugs have more RENDING than any other race at the moment...And we all know how cheap Rending is...

rending is one of the nid's strengths when you combine that with numbers well in a charge, on average, 2 gene-stealers will rend 1 and the three other attacks might still land gs have better i than sm staggering odds... ... for the marines oh... gs aren't pt friendly though
