the praetorian were a highly decorated imperial guard regiment, based on the colonial british forces and roman praetorian guard. they wore fancy uniforms and fought orks. i think they were nicknamed "toysoldiers"

The praetorian's were special edish. They were made for a campaign event called "The Battle for Big Tooth River." I beleive they were retired not long after the end the campaign. The vostroyans did not replace the praetorians. Many guard models have retired from the current range of models and have not yet found replacements. If anything, the vostroyans are a way of replacing the valhallan range of guard models.

Not banned, no. They just can't be screwed to make boxes and blister packs and put hem on the shelves. There was a regiment with the British royal guard "Marge simpson" hat. Needless to say, DISCONTINUED
