4000pts, i allied my csm with my traitor guardsmen. and it was indirect fire which i aimed at a carnifex and scattered perfectly onto an entire brood that had just enetered play cos of the untold numbers rule. so it got me loads of VP but no actual strategic value. id still d it again
its so fun to role all those dice, wounds on 2 no armour save
It's moments like that which make the whole hobby worth while.
Like pwning 6000 points of Imp marines with 3000 of Chaos just because your Ork ally got in a huff and went home because Ghaghul died in turn 1.
well, actually, i like the moment when you put all your models onto the field and just admire at how well-painted they are, before they get shot and have to be removed from the field. For traitor guardsmen, do you just use normal guardsmen and paint them differently, and do they have special rules or anything?
There was an army list and rules given in the Codex Eye of Terror. They had access to sick mutants, defilers and some other nice toys, but I think they lost a few standard IG gear.
they actually have FW traitors (if you can afford them). Otherwise just sctrach of all the imperial symbols and put on a few chaos bits here and there.
Use lots of bolters (for the gaunts) and lascannons (for the monstrous creatures) and you shouldnt have a problem. :)
