hi all I'm currently started to revamp the tyranids mixiing the 3rd edition with the 4th edition codex and a genestealer cult section. and i would like any help. even if its just testing and giving feedback (i'll post the rules i have done so far tomorrow)

sorry for the delay in posting been busier than expected. anyway here re some of the new rules so far:

Serrated Claws - 10 points The claws and talons of this Tyranid are deeply serrated, adept at ripping armour to shreds. It counts as having an AP in hand to hand based on its Strength. Consult the following table to determine the AP: Strength AP 4 6 5 5 6 4 7 3 8 2 9 1

Acid Blood - 10 pointsIf the Tyranid is wounded any non-Tyranid model in base contact suffers a S4 hit armour saves as normal.

Hive Node - ? points The Tyranid gains another Hive Mind Power (if not a synapse creature then they get brood telepathy [if already got brood telepathy then they gain synapse])

Changes Winged Tyranids can take extended carapace, Hive Tyrant now gets to choose 2 Powers instead of one

yh its unofficial and posting the changes i have made so others can try them out aswell. also if anyone else have there own house rules they can post them here and this could evolve into a community codex
