khaine is easily the best god, not only does he have an entire species to worship him but he also creates avatars wherever his blood is spilt. P.S. if the laughing god was up there i probably would have voted for him

That being said, my vote goes to Slaneesh. He alone was responsible for the fall of the Eldar and therefore ranks as the most powerful of the Chaos Gods.

Bleh. I got my facts wrong. He was born at the fall of the Eldar. Shoot me for being stupid. ;)

AAW man i wrote out the descriptions of all the gods it took me like 26 minutes and i wasnt logged in.. so they all got deleted =(

Machine Spirit--the machine spirit is the animating, controlling force of machines designed by the Adeptus Mechanicus of Mars. A machine that has been deprived of its machine spirit somehow will not work unless the spirit has some sort of substitute. Orks often substitute the WAAAGH!! for the machine spirit, while Chaos Space Marines may bind a daemon into a vehicle to gain the same effect. The machine spirit effectivly replaces the concept of an A.I. controlling machines.

The machine spirit is maintained by the Machine God. Out of the entire Imperium, only the Adeptus Mechanus are allowed to worship a being other than the Emperor of Man; namely, the Machine God who allows their mighty technological creations to run. It has been hypothezised that the Machine God is that same as the C'tan Void Dragon, the greatest of the C'tan who is known to be imprisoned on the planet of Mars.

Nurgle- chaos God of Decay. The death guard follow this god. This guy is disgusting and my least favorite god. He plagues his marines with various diseases, he calls them "gifts"(pfft...youre right) When the marines fight they infect their foes with these diseases and kill them. or make them join nurgle since hes the only one who can take those diseases back. HE is the oldest of all chaos gods.

Tzeencth-- lot of ppl like this guy. He is the god of change, he doesnt destroy he changes. So if youre fighting with this guy, you know that at least youre not gonna get destroyed. He changes for example if he is attacking an empire he doesnt destroy the whole palce he changes the laws and the people and the things.

Malal--Malal is the renegade 5th Chaos God. the storyline, both for Warhammer Fantasy and Warhammer 40,000, Malal was exiled from the rest of the Chaos Gods, but whether this was a self-imposed exile is not clear. Regardless of the reason, Malal lives only to destroy the other Gods and their followers in the name of revenge. Also known as "The Outcast God", "The Lost God" and "The Renegade God", Malal represents Chaos' indiscriminate tendency toward destruction, even of itself. The nature of Malal's powers are parasitic, as the Renegade God grows in power when the others do. The God's sacred number is 11, while his symbol is a skull bisected down the middle, one half white, one half black. Malal is the god that the lower classes turn to avenge themselves on the higher classes who attempt to strangle and stop them from their true glory. He is also the god of those who have been wronged, but lack the power to correct this. His followers come from people whose hatred of Chaos becomes so strong, that they willingly bond with Chaos to fight it at its own level.Use of Malal in further Games Workshop productions was halted, as Games Workshop did not own the intellectual property to the concept of Malal, the comic's authors did. But still games workshop gives a little hint of his existance in the background by little things.

Slaneesh--Slaanesh is the Chaos God of Lust, Excess, Pleasure, Perfection and Hedonism. The emeprors children legion follows this god. he destroyed khaine( but did not kill him). he is the youngest chaos god. H egains pleasure from torturing people so the emperors children torture ppl for him also thne dark eldar folow this god. i worte out the whole history of this guy but since it got deleted im not gonna write it all out again.

Nightbringer-- i got limited info on this guy. He is one of the C'tan and the most powerful one.
