Why do the Forgeworld resin models cost so much not even including the shipping?
because they are very detailed. original, and big.
Because theyre special. and they know sum poor sap like me is going to think theyre cool and buy them.
Its not that its just resin is more expensive then the cheap plastics and metals used on the basic models.
resin IS much more expensive than plastic but GW need to add the extra 2000% before they can sell it remember
Everything about gamesworkshop is expensive for some reason, but the new battleforces prices are a lot better than the old ones. I may even start an IG army.
Well I say reason is. Is well infaltion if I spelled it correct. It is what makes prices go up. Like all the warrhammer 40k moddles went up two more dolars a week ago.:uhoh:
Only the metal ones went up really, everything else pretty much went down in price. Inflation
The gamesworkshop sells stuff so expensively because the moulds they use cost over £100,000 each. Forgeworld do the same but resin costs more than the plastic and metal.
Plus petrol is going up in price, and plastic is a by-product of petrol. That means more price ingreases *groans*
