If one of you could help me I'd be extremely grateful.

My problems:

1. Xfire: Everytime I go AFK for like 5 minutes+ I get logged out automatically and everytime I go AFK for like a couple hours my whole internet gets deactivated so that might be the problem but idk. I only really care about the Xfire part so I can leave my Xfire on when I'm gone so I can reply to people asap.

2. WLM/Internet Explorer: Well the problem is I cannot connect to WLM or Internet Explorer. I'm not entirely sure why but I'm assuming they're linked somehow and it might have to do with the fact that my dominant browser is Firefox.

Helpful(?) info: ISP: SBC Yahoo DSL, Security: Zone Alarm, Main Browser: Firefox. If you need any more info just post

Thanks so much guys.

You cannot connect to WLM or IE... But you can connect to Firefox?

Apparently you have connection, am I correct?

It's quite possibly because, IE SUCKS. and Windows Live Messenger has issues, you need to get rid of that and use MSN, It's a bit better.

Don't know anything about Xfire, So.

Are you on a wireless connection or a hard wired connection?

I understand what you're saying - IE does suck, but I'm assuming that it's the cause of WLM not working because this has happened to me before and all of a sudden IE starts working and then so does WLM. Also MSN doesn't work either. :uhm:

You don't think you blocked Internet Explorer in Zone Alarm at any time, do you?

Have you reinstalled recently, in which case, have you reconfigured Internet Explorer to actually use your internet connection?

Monster_user;3512831You don't think you blocked Internet Explorer in Zone Alarm at any time, do you?[/quote] Nope, IE is 100% trusted on the program list.

Yeah, I reformatted some time ago in November which was when it stopped working. I don't know how to reconfigure it though.

Also, can anyone help me with my Xfire problem?

Are you connected through a proxy? If you are, IE won't automatically know how to connect that way.
