Hi. I'm thinking of upgrading my GeForce 6800 to a new 8800GTS. I have a 375W PSU but the 8800GTS "requires" a 400W PSU. Would I be able to use my 375W PSU with the 8000GTS without any issues?
Under load i reckon it would be very flakey indeed. I use one and it draws a fair bit, 75w through the mobo and 75w through the psu connection. 400w is the minimum remember, itd be worth you upgrading the psu.
Simple answer is to try it. It depends whether it's a good PSU or not. If it is, it will probably be able to handle it. If it isn't then no.
I've been reading the forums on the dell website and there are plenty of ppl with the same 375W PSU that are using the GTS with no problems. I think it will probly work with my PSU.
I take what n0e says way too seriously

Check the 12V rating on the psu,and compare it to the minimum recommendation for your card.
I'd upgrade before something happens to it :|
