Another option: get the 9800SE and unlock the extra pipelines, thus essentially making it a 9800 pro.

read about that there but there is a %50 chanse of getting it done without making your comp crash. There is a 9800pro, 256bit, 128mb, for around $200 with shipping. I read on the reviews that 9800's run hot:lookaround:.

I bet it does. I think it is some tweking with the bios of the card or useing omega drivers:D.

My friend did it, and says he doesnt have any problems. I think that you have to get this bios that someone wrote for it. The only problem with going with this option is that the heatsink and fan are smaller that the standard 9800 Pro, so you have to be careful about not overheating it. Ill get the details from him Monday.
