low timing. high timing takes longer, so the obvious ansewer is low timing. get something no more than 14ms timing. mines 13, and does jsut fine. happy shoping, tft monitors is not a happy market to be in.

16ms TFT can show max 62.5 Frames per second. (FPS) 8ms can show 125 FPS etc..

So I think 16ms is pretty OK, you can't run new games with that high FPS afterall? Well but 16ms if the highest you should even think of..

You should buy at least a 14ms because with 18ms (at least i noticed that) when you look fast arround (you will only feel that in close battles in shooter games like CS/BF2 etc.) that the screen greases some how. 16ms could be fine but if you buy a new one better be shure by 14ms. Mine has 10ms and works perfect.

That's a very common urban myth, and is not [entirely] true. True, a flat panel with a 16ms TrTf can only show 62.5 frames per second (1000/16). However, grey-to-grey transient changes are much more common than black-to-white-to-black changes, and generally take much less time to complete. However, it is very difficult to measure grey-to-grey times, and that is rarely ever used to market a monitor, especially because grey-to-grey times change depending on how far apart in the color spectrum the two points are.

As such, in real world usage, an LCD panel can show many more frames per second than the TrTf response time would indicate.
