I need to know if I can have three computers on DSL all be doing diffrent things at the same time like me playing and the other two surfing the internet and how does that work. Thanks in advance

Yes actully, if you pay for one DSL plan, you can get that one internet connection on as many computers as you would like . What this called is a LAN and a router makes this possible. A router pretty much splits your internet connect as much as you would like. Most start of with 4 ports in the back so you can have 4 computers all running internet at the same time. I have this set up and if all 4 are running internet at the same time, it gets a little slow but nothing major. So, you can buy a router at www.newegg.com and it will come with instructions. You will also need ethernet cords to connect from each PC to the router. These cords cost about 8 bucks each depending on the size. Yea its called Local Area Connection aka Lan ---- I prefer the $19.99 plan with Sbc Yahoo Dsl i have it and i run games with 20ping! Sorry i dont know the upstream and downstream
