If you mean on this forum, FF for some reason doesn't work with YT embeds, so I doubt it's Adblock causing it. In fact you can't even embed videos from FF's own file hosting site unless you do it via a social network. Kinda lame IMO.

Youtube embeds work on these forums. Or they used to up until a week ago.

Test embed.

EDIT: I can watch it find and use Adblock Plus. Is it with Firefox or Opera?

OK, I'll run another test then:

For me it shows as a white box, and I have no addon extensions installed in FF. The above was with Firefox final fully updated. I also have "Show Images" enabled of course.

Here's what the embed code looks like without the [/ youtube] wrap:

You don't use the embed code of these forums.

You use the series of numbers or letters that appear after the "/watch?v=" bit in a YouTube URL and wrap " frameborder="0" allowfullscreen> tags around it. That's the way it has always worked on these forums.

What browser are you using? I know that Opera carries ABP, but I've never used Opera's ABP.

Hmmm, weird, I'm using Iron with Adblock (not the plus version) and Adsweep and the vids show for me now.

I tried Adblock Plus with Iron and it's actually not as good because it doesn't remove the Vibrant ads that show popups when you hover over the highlighted text. Vibrant is bad for two reasons, the popups and the highlighted text is often a color that is hard to read depending on the background color.
