you know, the other day i was thinking about when they were going to make something like this! Its a good thing for people who have a good AGP card yet want to upgrade the mobo, i would get one of those and a new AMD mobo if i had a AGP card that was worth it.

It looks like a very useful and practical solution, but I would rather save and fork out the money for all new, top-line hardware personally.

humm jsut spend the extra 50$ an get th right board the more "brideges" and expantion all thes do hickes make the trasnfer rate longer.

i doubt it would slow the transfer rate down past AGPx8.

true but a true PCI-E is 16X an it simulates dubble the ram capasity.
