That's a PCI-Express video card, you will need a motherboard that has at least 1 PCI-Express x16 slot for it to work, 2 if you want to run two of these cards in SLI. In short, no, this card is not AGP compatible.

SLI (Scaleable Link Interface) is a technology used by nVidia to link two graphics cards together, effectively doubling your graphics processing power - the two cards will work as one.

If you want to use that card, go out and buy a motherboard that supports PCI-Express. As far as I know, only Intel Socket LGA775 and AMD Socket 939 motherboards offer it at the moment.

AMD Socket 754 has Pci-Express and you can find some old Socket 478 with Pci-Express on them too.

AGP and SLI:rofl: Its a typo, SLI is a PCI-e only technoology.

The card is nice though. I own the 6800gt version of that card. If it were not for the rest of my PC it would own. Look on e-bay for the 6800gt version of the card, since I don't think they sell it anymore.

BFG=teh own.

Oh and if anyone is looking for a sweet deal click me

7800gt with COD 2 and 600watt PSU(x-connect, hey its free) for $300:eek:

SLI can not be on a AGP card because of the bandwidth it makes and well have you ever seen a dual AGP motherbored???

Its AGP. The photos say it and the review on the page says its AGP.

You know what? I say go for crossfire. I've never really liked Nvidia. ATi has always been my buddy.
