i made a surffing.gif and its 207kb and the smaller is 140 kb now thats whay to big to upload off my computer now i was wondering it there was any site where i could uploaded it to and then click on the image to make it my icon kinda like what we do with imageshack for our sigs

Well...I'm not really sure about a website but I do know about a program that you can download (its free) and it has the ability to resize your picture. Type Infran View into google and download it.

Delete every other frame. There's not much else you can do with a GIF. Basically it's just a series of pictures, so the only way to really decrease the file size is to decrease the number of pictures. You'll have to increase the time between frames to stop the animation moving too quickly.

If it's an AIM-icon sized still picture and it's 140kb in GIF format then something is wrong lol.

chances are i wont beable to get it to work as the file size is to big and i dont want to get rid of frames. o well i liked it to surf1.gif
