Overall I can not find a good computer. So I was looking at the Alienwares. Are they any special at all. I also have another question. How do you make a computer from scratch. It does seem really hard to do. But the main question is Do Alienware computers are worth the price? Or should I get a Emachines AMD Athlon Prossesor 3000+ with a Gforce 4 card and 516 RAM I think it was 258 or 128 MB I actully dont remember. I will make a new thread with the computer imformation for you to tell me is it good or not.:nodding:

Out of any other brand, alienware are the best. They dont have shit in them like all the other pc's. Its not hard to put one together youself if you take your time and you know how to buy parts that work with eachother. You also need to do the wiring and connect them, which shouldnt be soo hard.
ok thank you but I'am not interested in buying a alienware. Check out my other post with the emachines.

You can build an alienware for hundreds of dollars cheaper if you build yourself. The reason you pay so much is because it says alienware, build yourself it gives you a feeling of accomplishment, and it's the only way you really get what you want in it:nodding:

Alienware are not worth the money. Alienware computers a rip-offs. You're paying an extra thousand quid for the little alien logo on the front of a case, which is arguably not the most pleasant case in the world anyway. If you're completely unable to build your own computer, Alienware may well be a good choice of gaming computer, but as you could build almost three equal-spec computers yourself for the same price... I reckon you should do everything in your power to learn how to build your own. Apart from anything else, if you get familiar with the hardware, you don't have to pay someone else to fix a hardware problem if something goes wrong in future.

Exactly. But you have to have the know how on how to build one. Alienware, you pay for what you get. Damn solid PC's still, but they have a hefty price on thier name.
Yes, all this is so true well I'am only 12 and I dont have 5000 or 1000 soo. Alienware I wont get.
