Punkbuster has been booting people of late in our RtCW mod. People have been recommending that we turn off PunkBuster on our servers. I want to know how wide spread the problem is. If you have been seeing players kicked with a "No Packet Flow" error in the last week, please post a quick reply and tell us what game and/or mod you saw this in. Even if your game is listed a bunch of times already please post anyway. We need to know how bad this is so we can get Evenbalance's attention. As a side note please also post if you've been getting or been seeing PB Init kicks. Include the game info there too. If you have any info about either of these issues please PM me or post. Thanks.... Capt. Queeg WildWest Mod Team
RtCW: WildWest - I've seen no Packet Flow for other players - I've had PB Init failure twice
RtCW: Degeneration - I used to PB Init failure on map changes that take a long time. Another player with a slower computer got the same thing.
RtCW: WildWest i've seen the no packet flow, and the pb init..i've been kicked twice on the weekend, but the message i get is unknown reason (just started this wknd)

This is caused by PB. It's been happening a lot in all games that use PB. Try going to the pb directory in your rtcw directory and run pbweb.exe (you might have to run it a few times). Be sure to tell everybody to do this. PB has been a nightmare in the last week or two. If you can afford to, disable PB until told that PB is working properly.

Ok my post from the other thread:
I have noticed that when the map changes, me and A-E were always the first ones to be fully on the server (not 999 in ping). And the ones who were 999 were the ones at risk of being kicked, and yes, they were kicked due to "No Packet Flow". So I think, the faster you are fully connected to the server after a map change, the less of the chance you have at being kicked via PB.

Ive seen it happen in RTCW Enemy Territory, and Shrubet.
Just a little question:
Is the pbweb updater in the pb folder the latest v2.0? I know it gets installed when you install the patch 1.02 but that isn't the latest build (1.4). Would that be the cuase of the problem?
I've been getting booted numerous times playing the Wild West mod, mostly for unknown reasons, a few pb init failures. This started happening around Thursday, I've updated PB using pbweb, but still get kicked at map changes.
I have not noticed it in regular Wolf, but I don't play it as much.
Yeah, that's when the last PB Update came out....
