I definitely wouldn't trust those things, cause from what I've seen, the difference between an all-in-one liquid solution vs a cooling kit is like night & day.

It depends what you expect from it. A 120mm rad sealed hydro cooler with one fan isn't quite as good as the best air coolers. With two fans in push/pull they're slightly better than the best air coolers. If you're looking for the best cooling at a low price and you have room for it, consider the Prolimatech Armageddon 140mm air cooler. http://www.prolimatech.com/en/products/detail.asp?id=156&page=1

I have a H50 with an NF-P12 fan in push, and I like it. It can't quite keep up with my TRUE push-pull with higher-RPM fans, but it's a lot quieter. It gives me about a 40°C delta under Prime95, and that's good enough for me for now.

Expensive water can stomp Air if the heat load is enough. I got to the point with my i7 where a venomous-X cant keep up with it. Going for a full loop now :)

I think thats the main benefit. My Venomous X keeps my i7 pretty cool, but with the fan i have one it right now its a little noisy for me. I had considered getting a H50 until i got a good deal on this VX.

I would water cool if it wasn't so expensive to set up a decent loop.

I'm thinking of going with the Armaggedon. Something about a 140mm CPU cooler just makes sense. Large HS area, quieter fan, great cooling.
