Coretemp works for me.

i also use everest ultimate (the 30 day trail) on new builds as it can monitor temps and stress the system at the same time for me.

OFF topic, but could people run this old prog and see and post your scores. http://testcpu.webz.cz/testcpue.zip Just curious, even if the numbers are arbitratry, it DOES show differences if you change system settings. It is just an exe, no install, and simple charts, and it saves an .ini or adds to it if you save the results.

Ok, just out of curiosity i looked at that program, and wow... It is OLD. What scores do you even post from that?

I would use some like Geekbench or PCMark for a more modern system test.

No it's a quiky, I will post some scores-pics, but it does still work on win7 64, and you can see the changes if you change things in BIOS or run less stuff in windows, but it always seems to have relevance, and I would like to see you guys scores, for fun.

That bench is pretty useless. Scores are so low its not practical to use. And it doesn't scale very well with newer hardware as well since its only single-threaded.
