I want to upload videos of mine onto youtube, but some of them are alittle over the size limit. Can any of you guys recommend me some really good, free video compression software?
I think there is a downloadable compressor that people use to put movies on there psp's?
Windows Movie Maker. Then convert it to AVI (if you have, do it again) with this converter: mediaconverter.org - Media Converter SA Edition download

Yup. Windows Movie Maker (it's free, and already installed on your computer), will do the job just fine.

Ok, use DivX. It is what youtube recommends, as you will have more quality for your video too when you upload it to youtube. It's a great compression codec, especially for youtube, it will give better quality on youtube than any other type really. here: DivX Video Player - DivX Video Codec - DivX Converter
windows movie maker will work, but divx would be better in my opinion, though you would have to download something.
