Hey, I was talking to my friend today, and he was mentioning a bunch of problems with logging in On his Desktop PC. He said that anything like Teamspeak, MSN, AIM, websites, anything where you need to login, doesn't allow him. We were going to play a Game of hl2 deathmatch, and his Steam wouldn't log in. He then fired up Joint Operations: Typhoon Rising, and when he typed in his name and password, and hit login, it just sat there.
Anything he tries to log into, blocks him basically. Anyone have any ideas?
All of that sounds web based, so you might tell him to check his browser and firewall settings. If he uses Internet Explorer, go to his Tools: Internet Options privacy tab. Setting it too high might have caused the browser to block cookies, which can screw up login processes for some websites. Also check Firewalls, virus scanners, and general internet-related protection as likely culprits.
If I'm way off the mark, undoubtedly someone who actually knows how to address your problem will come in and offer a better solution.
