hey, i used to skin for a game called jedi academy, im sure many of you know about it and im going to ask the same old question everyone has asked that spawned from that game (and im sorry for anyone tired of seeing it) the only reason i ask the question is because ive researched it ALOT and even though everyone seems to have asked it among other forums, i can never find an answer... what ever happened to pcgamemods.com? the only answer i can ever get is usually "its dead, get over it" i tried picking jedi academy back up and going in through there asking anyone who knew, but finding anyone in there that even knows of the site is a challenge in itself, it seems the JA community has become filled with noobs who picked the game up off the discount shelf and know nothing of how the game used to be *tear* one other thing i found (and i doubt the is true) is that the moderators became disgusted, mostly caused by a chain reaction of (and this is the part i find very unlikely) me leaving the community (well he never said "me" but he gave a date around when i left, and referenced skins that i made) i think that answer might have been the most flattering answer i found, but i highly doubt it, i mean i was well known on the site, and respected by some big names like sith-j-cull (for any of you who remember) but i doubt i could have caused this anyway, anyone who has a deffinitive answer i would love to know thanks!

Well, if you're looking for an answer, you provided one yourself.

Cursedoneits dead, get over it

That's pretty much all there is to it. The site simply went down one day and apparently the owner has no intentions of bringing it back.

I wonder the same. It had a dozen of skins that were only available on that site. A even more mods. I kinda miss it.:uhm:

I've also wondered about this; as some people still think that it's alive.

But why don't the modders who were hosted on that site move their stuff over to other hosting sites?

see these are all things i wondered too not to mention it was the easiest site to post to because it would let you upload stright to the site (which obviously has some problems but easier for anyone else) i think some of the moderators had problems, and people took it out on the good ones (i did a few times) and it kind of crumbled, but this is not so hard to fix not to mention it was well known i think the administrator should just give the domain to someone else and the scripts, then someone else could run it, even if it was from scratch someone could do it
