Well... I have a PowerBook G4 15 Inch. Love it, except for the fact that the only games very few games are on Mac, and (for the most part) those that are out were released on the PC years ago. But if you are going to keep a Windows based system for games, then for the love of God, GET AN APPLE! They are uber-stable, fast, and dead sexy looking to boot.

That's kind of a - grey area. Strictly speaking MacOS can only be used with Mac hardware.

To run Mac OS X you need a Apple computer. If you only use to computer to surf online, listen to music, watch movies, p0rn, and any thing else besides gaming and major graphic design then get a Apple. Mac is the best unix based OS out there and is better than Windows. The best Mac for you would be a Mac mini for $500 and you can use your monitor, keybored, and mouse you have now or if you got the money get a iMac G5 or if you really really have the money and might do some Mac gaming then a PowerMac G5.

Pfft. Get the PowerBook 17 Inch with a SuperDrive. Or the top-o-the-line PowerMac G5 with the huge Cinema Display.

Neither. Get Linux for free and use it on your existing computer. It's just as stable as MacOS and very nice-looking as well. It's win-win!
