My asus G71GX slows to a crippling 1-3 fps in ANY game after sleep mode, if I go in hibernate or shutdown, the problem is resolved, though after sleep the GPU overheats and slows down hardcore. I've checked the asus forums and flashed my bios several times with different versions all claiming they fix the problem. Can anyone help me with this issue? It usually happens after 10-15 minutes of play, OS operation stays the same and is fine, just any 3d application slows down.
EDIT: Should probably post my specs

I have never had a laptop that didn't do this after sleep mode. Just reboot if you know you're going to game.
I didn't make it!
OS issue, not a vid card issue. Considering toggling hibernation off, as well as other standby functions. So, when you're computer sleeps, it actually sleeps instead of executing other bs programs like system restore.
