I think that card is very good! Based on reviews and comments I read. I want to buy that card but i can't afford the price. I'm just gonna go with ATI 9600xt. Yes it is 9800 pro can play next generation games. I suggest go for it! It's a good choice...

Hey man. Yes, the 9800 Pro 128 is a very good card. It runs all Direct X9 games very well and is still a powerul card. I, myself own a Radeon 9800 Pro 128 Excalibur IceQ and its the wikidest card ever. I really do reccomend this card if you want your best "Bang-for-the-Buck".

Alternativley, theres the adeon 9800 XT which is a little better but more expensive. Geforce 6800 or Radeon X800 series for overkill, but your paying big bucks there.

Check out www.tomshardware.com for reviews on Radeon 9800 Pro's, i'd definatly reccomend it theyre damn good cards.

I have one, and It runs all games [except BFV.... Maybe thats just the netcode] extremely well, Doom3 looks great on it and so will HL2.

Just bought myself an Sapphire 9800 256 mb Atlantis (some difference if you compare to my old mx440  ). Is there a big difernce between the "normal" (that I have) and the pro ones?
