HOLY CRAP! This card looks amazing! Check out this review as gamespot puts it to the test, tells its stats and show us some benchmark comparisons!!! http://www.gamespot.com/features/6142842/index.html

Those 3DMark 06 scores are awsome! I never knew a graphics card could have so many pipelines either ! That things clock speeds are as fast as my old PC's procossor too :p. To bad its so damn pricey....

I am impressed. The X1900 dominates everything out there. There are times when it doubles the 7800 Ultra in frame rates.

I think I just found the next upgrade on my list...shame I just spent £70 on a new Audigy and a 5.1 Creative speaker system.

Graphical nirvana here we come. That is one hell of a card.

Same. I just spent $150 on a S939 opteron so it looks like my 6600GT is going to be with me for a couple of more months. Really though I don't need 48 shader units when all I play is Source.

Still is awesome though. :bows:

With 48 pipelines, it's no surprise. Tha thing will need all the graphics bandwidth it can get, something only PCI-E can deliver.

Uhh... sorry to burst your bubble here, but that site is wrong, the X1900 don't have 48 Pipes...

It has 16 Pixel Pipelines, with three Pixel Shaders per pipe, for a total or 48 Pixel Shader Processers (ALU's), not pipelines. Just look at the specs on Newegg and Anandtech.
