I recently bought an ATI radeon 9800 pro, and on the TV feature it allows me to record. But it always records then to a ATI File Player type. I want to convert them to something that will run on Windows Media Play AND that I can use most video editing programs on. Any one offer advise?

Most Windows Video Recording software is compatible with Windows Media Player. Just stick with the WMP formats, and you should be fine.

I don't need one that is compatable with WMP, I need one that can convert ATI to WMP because I cant find any software that is compatable with ATI. Also, not all PCs have software that can read the ATI stuff so I cant send video to friends..

I have a ATI TV card also and when you do the configureing with it at the begging for the TV card it should said ATI video format, MPG, WMV and some other one. Just the the video configure again for the TV recording.
