Ok, well when i first got my pc i would put a cd in and it would start running automaticly.... But a few months ago all of a sudden my games would not start on there own, i would have to go into my computer and click into the cd or just double-click the shortcut, but autorun menus never appear... So when i first install a game i have to manually start the .exe. This hasnt been a probably but now im just getting tired of it... Music cd's run on their own right when i put them in for some reason its just games.... In almost all my game's manuals under installation it says "if u are having trouble getting the autorun menu to appear u may have autorun disabled." Where is this "autorun" option? ive looked all over for it. Plz help.

I'm assuming you're running Windows XP here. In which case you would have to do the following:
1. Go to Start -> Run, type in "regedit" (without the quotes) and hit enter. 2. Look for the following registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\CDRom 3. Change the "Autorun" value to 1. 4. Restart your computer.
Strange.. It already is at 1! Yet it still wont autorun!

Hmmm, that's odd.
Try right-clicking on the CD drive in My Computer, selecting properties and looking at the AutoRun tab. This deals with DVDs, Music CDs and the like, however it's worth looking at in case something glaringly obvious has been unchecked.
The above two methods are the only ways that XP deals with Autorun, as far as I know. Otherwise, you may be looking at a damaged CD, or optical drive.
Ive tried looking in the Autorun tab in the poperties of it but i found nothing... Ill have to look at it some time...
