In the realm of freeware virus scanners, which one is better AVG, Antivir or ?? Thanks all!

I use AVG (along with ZoneAlarm Pro and SpyBot S&D), and I haven't had any problems with viruses for about 6 months now. :thumbsup:

I'm currently using Avast, Zone Alarm Pro and SpySweeper and I haven't had any problems for well over a year now.

I also use AVG Free, Spybot, Zonealarm, and Adaware SE.

No problems in 3, yes I repeat..............3 years! :)

AVG, but i also run an online scan from Trend Micro as it has found stuff that AVG, Norton, Adaware and Spybot didn't. its free and not one of those scans that tell you that it will cost x amount of Pounds /Euros / Dollars to remove the crap
