Ok, so I recently bought a DVD burner, and it's a light-scribe, so my father has paid for the special discs and a little more for my time, and wants me to back up his DVD collection. I've made an ISO with MagicISO, and the demo version of it can't burn a file over 300mb. When I use Nero (came with the burner), it has an option for "Burn Image to Disc". When I try this, it says "You are trying to burn more data than will fit on a CD. Would you like to burn your data to a DVD?" I click yes, then it says I have to use a CD, not a DVD... what? anyone else use Nero express and have this problem?

I can't help you with that problem. Though I will highly suggest using CloneDC, or CloneDVD. (Ironically enough, CloneCD fully supports DVD). Both programs should allow you to do direct copies of your legit DVD's.

Yes, you should use a special DVD-copying program such as DVD-X-Copy, or one of the ones that Rob mentions.

If you already have the ISO files, try the free program "ImgBurn" (google it). It will burn pretty much any size ISO file you have to a CD or DVD.

Thanks a bunch, works beautifully! And it'll compress the DVD's to fit on 4.7gb single-layer disks, that's pretty neat. I also like the feature that lets you choose what you want from the DVD. Thanks again for the suggestion!
