Personally, I think Alienware is awesome. I've had nothing but good experiences with them. Excellent customer service, immediate component replacement, should you need it, and most of their stuff is just plain sexy. Most of their stuff in their laptops can be expanded, if you have the know-how, or the pocket change. I wish I had 7 G's to drop on a laptop. The world is so unfair :-P

I don't, I'd be saving up my money, it would be next sumemr, since this is a summer job, once it's over I save next year.......

Well....Archaon. Maybe he wants to know some ideas, what to look for, the pros and cons, how much they cost. Yes by next summer technology will change and all the laptops we've listed here will be outdated. He probably just wanted to what to look for in a gaming laptop and what to watch out for.

Even still, laptop technology may be totally different by next summer. He may be able to get a high performance laptop that also has several hours of battery life.

True. Especially if it has a Core 2 Duo processor. One of the best processors made by Intel for gaming or for battery life.
