I was wondering what you people think the best program for chatting on IRC is. The only ones I know of are mIRC and ChatZilla (the FireFox plugin).

Well i just use ChatZilla because it's a plug-in for my favorite browser. I've never tried another client, so i cant really say one is better. IRC is pretty simple, so i cant imagine much difference between clients.

Gaim is the most talked about one in the Open Source world...

I never use IRC clients, so I can't recommend one either.

XChat, as it has some extra features mIRC doesn't. Think of it as a modded version of mIRC.

Only ever used mIRC, and it does everything it needs to do. Plus others with NNScript.
