Ok, so just today when I turn on an application usually a game, I'm at whatever start up menu I am on and my Computer just freezes. If the Game menu has backround music a small sample just repeats and repeats. I can't ctrl+delete out, I literally have to unplug my computer from the wall to get out of it. I have not changed anything with my computer it just started doing this today. Also another thing to mention, well I've tried this multiple times and when my computer does consistency checks on my C Drive which it has neverd one that before also. I have no idea what to do and would really appreciate some help, thankyou.

Sometimes heat can be the issue with your Processor. Maybe your hard-drive took a shit! Either one could be the cause. If you ever get a boot problem when trying to get started again, it may be your hard-drive.

that has happened with BF2 with me, the music keeps playing minutes after i exit the game.......it usually stops after a little while
Doesn't sound too good: total freeze-ups are usually due of malfunctioning hardware. You'd better check the cooling (dust) and start saving money just in case. :D

it is the ram it uses 1gb or ram to play BF2 so the music will play after take about 10 seconds till it stops for me buty since the 1,03 patch i have had no music play after i have left the game so i am all happy now. an how can dust be the problum. for cooling the heat gose though it as if it wernt there, u would need hafe inch of dust to have a problum. (get liquid cooling the frontear of cooling)
HMM i have no idea what to do. I've never had a problem with cooling or anything like that before. Just started doing this, and the song doesnt repeat, just if there is any music like a half second of the song will repeat over and over until i unplug my computer : (

Yeah, maybe you should post your system specs first ;)
I dont think its a problem with my PC, i have been playin all the games i play for months and it just started doing this. I cleaned out my computer and got rid of most of the dust and made sure all of the fans are running. AMD Athlon 2000+ ATI 9800 PRO 768 RAM
