Ok, this may not be the right area to post this, but I have 3 email accounts for various things, one of them is getting at least 6 blank emails from (what appears to be) real people. The service provider is either: Qwest, comcast, cox, or telus. This may just be another spammers way to fill up my inbox, but I find it kind of strange as most spam is from some provider that I've never heard of, while these emails are coming from valid service providers. If this is nothing to worry about, sorry for taking your time, if this is something to worry about, thanks for informing me.

They appear blank, but when you open them an ActiveX or 'read detector' tells the spammers that your account is active and allows them to spam you more. Anything without a title shouldn't be opened unless it's from someone you know.

I never liked my Hotmail account anyway, and I use Firefox, so...

No big, the Hotmail account is for Spam anyway.

I reccomend Gmail, I have never gotten any spam and neither have the people I've talked to. Plus you get over 2gigs of email storage.
