Okay, so I have Windows XP installed, and I picked up another hard drive and decided to install Vista on it.

So I go pick up Vista, install it, activate it, get drivers, etc etc. Then I restart, and I notice that Vista didn't ask me if I wanted to boot in XP or Vista... So I loaded up Vista Boot Manager, and it doesn't pick up Windows XP... and I do not want to go without XP.

So, please, can anyone help me? Thanks in advance.

I think Vista's bootloader doesn't recognize OS's installed on other hard drives.

Also, if one drive is set to master and the other slave (through jumper settings), it won't ask if you want to boot to the OS on the slave drive.

XP hard drive is set to master, Vista hard drive is set to slave.

I used this program called "EasyBCD," what it does is allow you access to Vista's bootmanager, allowing you to manipulate the boot sequence. So I just added XP to the boot sequence, and now everything is running great.

Thanks guys, appreicated the help.
