Captain AmerikaSometimes it happens right on browser loadup, but other times it doesn't happen until I click a link, then it happens.

Does it do it on Google?

I have that problem with Firefox 1.0.x. The web page would bounce around like crazy anytime I opened a page containing Flash content.

How many extensions have you installed? Disabling the extensions, or running Firefox' Safe Mode fixed the problem. I think that one of my extensions was conflicting with Flash. I'm thinking Adblock.

Monster_userDoes it do it on Google?[/quote] Sometimes, not always. The problem isn't constant. Like RIGHT NOW it's not doing it, but it was doing it like crazy yesterday and the day before.

Monster_user I have that problem with Firefox 1.0.x. The web page would bounce around like crazy anytime I opened a page containing Flash content.

I don't know what page use Flash content, but I'll look how the browser acts with the pages I know that use Flash.

But say the browser reacts to pages that use Flash, what then?

I'm not running any.

Do you have anything on your Toolbar bookmarks at the top of your screen

I removed all the bookmarks from here once and my screen would shake, once I added a bookmark the shakes went away

I had this exact same problem. It was a clean install of Windows complimented by a clean install of Firefox. I believe it had something to do with rapid resizing of images, well that's what I assumed. Unfortunatly I don't know how I fixed it.

Are you running the latest version?

Since it doesn't happen on Google, and you haven't installed any extensions... I have to consider that Firefox's theme engine may be conflicting with something else on your system. Possibly an XP theme.

Have you installed WindowBlinds, StyleXP, or the DLL patch?

Most often, when it happens on Google, and you have no other extensions installed. The above fixes the problem. Even if it is a theme conflict.

This was supposed to have been fixed in Firefox 1.0.3. However, the problem may still remain if your using the same profile that you used with previous versions.

Click on Bookmarks -> Manage Bookmarks, and drag some stuff into the "Bookmarks Toolbar Folder" it is usually at the top.

I think I have figured out the problem...

I DO use WindowBlinds and a few of the skins for some reason make the screen bounce like mad, so I don't use those skins any more and now it works just like normal.

Much thanks Monster_User, plus rep!
