ok, Im sorry for bumping this topic, but I really need help, please brainstorm ideas that can help attach this tiny piece, the one that attaches to the control ribbon, to my ipod, please be practical the idea must fit inside the ipod, and not cost me anything, thanks

cant, I dont have the money, its not under warenty, and it fell in water and was dismantled, multiple times

If it's plastic you can't solder. Your glue doesn't work, nor does tape. And you don't want to try to return it, nor invest any money at all into it... Go ahead and call it doctor... (time of death...) Otherwords, man your just SOL. Give up and use the old walkman again.

it can be soldered, the contacts can at least, if I knew someone who could do that accurate soldering, and tape doesnt stick well enough and moves too much, this is my brothers old one and I just wanted a free ipod so investing money is a no no, and ive tried different glues, some of which worked, but they blocked the contacts, im looking for more immaginative ideas here
