Well, I believe my computer is currently out-of-date by my standards. I am wanting to get rid of everything, and get a completely new system. I want a top of the line gaming computer, prices are not a concern. I have saved up for two years and have $3,000+, in cash. However, I do want a few things, that I would like included. I would like to include the following:
- AMD Processor - ATI X800 - Flatscreen Monitor - At Least 1.5GB Of RAM
The rest is up to you! Regards, Ryan
I'm not sure that I understand the point of this thread. Please explain in more detail please.

Recommend the best hardware you know of! I want the community to offer their input!
O okay. I get it.
I would suggest buying a 80-120 GB harddrive depending on how much money you have to spend. This would allow for more than enough space to install all of the new games on the market.
$3,000+, as stated in the above post. ;) Also, I am looking into getting a 200GB and a 120GB H/D. Two H/D's, more room for....things that I need. ;)
Are you going to do video editing or something???
That seems like a lot of space for gaming.

I would suggest you get a pair of SATA drives and put them in a raid0.
Must be possible with that budget, really helps too. I've got a raid0 with PATA100 and a mate of mine has SATA raid0. His raid blows mine out of the water:eek:
