Apollo75;4291774I used the XP SP2 disc i got with my Dell to install XP on the computer in my sig. It installed and activated itself without a single problem, i just used the COA code from my Dell since i'm no longer using it on that computer.

I'm not saying it can't be done, just that you're not supposed to.

If you want to go with the Raidmax case, get a good PSU. The ones that come with the cases usually aren't very good.

I would suggest either: Seasonic 550W Newegg.com - SeaSonic S12 Energy Plus SS-550HT ATX12V / EPS12V 550W Power Supply 100 - 240 V UL, CE, CB, TUV, FCC - Power Supplies or Corsair 520HX Newegg.com - CORSAIR CMPSU-520HX ATX12V v2.2 and EPS12V 2.91 520W Power Supply 100 - 240 V UL, CUL, CE, CB, FCC Class B, TUV, CCC, C-tick - Power Supplies

if you don't want to spend too much.

Ok, maybe I should get a better psu. I'd like to find a case that comes with a psu and fans so I will not need to do any more looking for those things. So on that thought, what do you think of this case Newegg.com - COOLER MASTER RC-690-KKA1-GP Black SECC/ ABS ATX Mid Tower Computer Case Real Power Pro 550W Power Supply - Computer Cases I'm going to put a GeForce 7600GT in this comp, so I'll need a minimum of 450 watts psu, will that case be enough? Tell me what you think. Thanks for the help. P.S. Will I need more fans?

Personally I'd avoid the Samsung optical drives. Mine are bloody awful, and so were the last ones I used. Neither of them will read certain discs; apparently just because they don't feel like it since the discs work flawlessly in the other drives and machines we've got around here. I'd go with something from Pioneer, or perhaps someone like LG.

Uhh once again for that much money you could find an ATX Full or Mid with a far better PSU, look for at least a 700wat so you don't have to upgrade for quite some time. That's an awful lot for so little of a case.

If that's the card you're getting then yeah that power supply should be fine, but you don't need too many fans, two 120mm fans work great.

Ok, but where I am going to find these ATX towers with a 700 watt psu and fans for $100-$150? I don't plan on upgrading much at all after building this, it's just going to be for the office and maybe run a few recent games. So if I can get by with a 550 watt psu, that will be fine. :D

Well since you said you're getting this one card I guess you really don't need a bigger power supply, stick with your 520wat and you should be fine. Sorry for the confusion, I wasn't quite sure what you were planing, it seems you're a casual gamer like me who doesn't need to major parts.
