if anyone is familiar with burning their own roms via Nero 6,could you possibly help me with this ? I need some assistance in properly burning a cd-rom in Nero 6 Ultra. I burned the necessary bin and cue files to cd image, and *installed* the game sucessfully - even got the cd validation to work perfectly - from there, but to actually run the game i recieve a mesage asking me to insert the correct cd-rom. I am kind of confused as to what to do here....do i burn the cd image as a cd-rom on a cd-r then attempt to run the game from cd-rom as you would traditionally with any other game ? any help on the matter would be quite appreciated  and for legal matters, the original copy of this game is legally mine.i am simply making a copy of COD for my cousin.

Use the burn image to disc feature to properly burn the .cue file. Once this is done, the CD should act as the original.

okay, so does this mean that whatever i had done previously was pointless ? i mean, i test installed the game's bin/cue files on my computer and the game itself is there but at this point it is unplayable because it needs to read from cd-rom.i will do as you suggested and hopefully it will work out alright. thanks thus far Glasius

You unpacked/decompressed the bin image to your hard-drive and ran the install program from there. Its unnessecary to do this because you have to burn a CD to get it working anyways. You could have just used the CD you in this case have to burn anyway to install it.

A copy of the disk won't work. You would have to get a new .exe that runs from the hard drive of your computer instead of the cd.
