Hey I was thinking of buying 3DSMAX 6/7 but I don't want to pay the $1300 pricetag. I'm not asking for warez or crap. Where can I get a low price, like maybe $200? Is that asking way too much? Maya PLE just isn't what I want to be working with anymore. I used to work in the trial version of 3DSMAX, but it expired. If you're a student you might be lucky and get a good deal from your college/university. If that doesn't help, I think there is a 3d-modelling thread in the graphics department, perhaps someone over there can help you :)

You could try Gmax, the free version. It is a very powerfull program, but you do have to register it. It should be on the 3DSMax website.
