Ok sorry for my first post it was a bit frantic. Whats happened is there was a patch for a game which deleted all the registry entries under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall in the registry. And only a few programs remain its not a huge issue but things like my photoshop and other apps don't work and biggest of all is i can't use windows add or remove programs any more to uninstall a program. So my point is there any program out there that can scan my pc and re add these registry entries and fix the problem. I have two choices after reading unless anyone knows a fix. 1.Is to install all my programs again which could take a long considering i have 140games installed 2.Is to reformat and start again and 3.Is system restore tried but it failed and now there is no points left after the update so if anyone can help me and knows a of a program to do the above described you would be a god.

I doubt that anything can restore those registry entries.

If I were you I'd try out what works and what doesn't - most games don't need the registry entries you mention. Most apps don't either. First time I heard that PS does, but it's possible.

By the way, what was the patch?
