Right, I've already done this before but the time is near. I need to know how good this will cope while playing Crysis. I need to know what settings this could handle with a decent frame rate, what kind of resolution could I use while playing crysis.

Yea it should run it okay, but i'd install the CCC 2.21 tweak to get 25+ FPS in most areas. It won't be spectacular because crysis is very very unoptimized. I'd wait until crysis warhead came out to enjoy crysis how it should have been. Warhead will be more optimized for med gaming rigs, which means the higher end will see what they should with good framerates.

I'm going to try this mod just for the AI tweaks. I doubt if it will boost performance on my old P4 3Ghz, X1950Pro rig though. Most of the optimizing is for more realistic shadows, and we all know what shadows do to your FPS.

At say 1680x1050 it should run it great at mid/high settings, possibly with some framerate dips with settings on Ultra High.
I have the same video card and a similar processor (mines faster, yours has more cores) and I play Crysis @1360x768 on high settings with framerates never dropping below 30-35 and averaging 50-60.

I'd say you can run it on High/Very High on a good 25-35 FPS without CCC. At least... That's how i run it!
Thanks guys. Do any of you know if it's possible to add another graphics card in there, possibly a 8800.
Have to bump this since I really need to know. From the information provided, is it possible to allow another 8800 into that computer.
As you can see I'm no tech GUY!
I didn't make it!
Does your PC support SLI? If so, I'd say you could but another 8800 in there, but if I where you, I'd go for the 8800 GTX, and order from this website: TigerDirect.com - Computers, Computer Parts, Computer Accessories, PC Components, & Electronics
BTW, I don't have experience with PCI express.
