Hey i got suddenly a program when i want to install a game. Ive want to install a game and when i put the cd/dvd in, it says it cant find the launch program of the game, but it says c:// program files/..../empire at war/ launchexw... cant find launch... ive installed the game before but i erased it, now i want to install it again but it fails.. any help??

easyest thing to do is uninstall and deleat the folder and then reinstall.

problem, i searched everything with the search button on my pc, and it didnt find anything only the stuff on the cd... thats all, and yeah srry but it happend to another game that i never installed on this pc before...

Wtf? The installer files are only meant to be on the CD. Run them from there, end of problem.

If you've already previously installed and uninstalled the game, you may need to remove some left over regestry entries from the previous installation. Sometimes leftover registry entries will screw up an install.

I know that Battlefield Vietnam had a problem with this.

Well, if you don't have any experence with the regestry, then I would strongly recomend against touching it.

You can use a third party program (there's a good one called 'CCleaner') that can clean your regestry, there are a number of free ones. But you do run the risk of siginficaintly damaging your computer by using these.

i have registry cleaner but damn, it never happened and suddenly it did!
