I just recently exchanged an old Notebook Emachine 6809 cause it had lines running all around the screen for a newer 6811. This new Notebook runs like a charm, after i tried putting in a CD into the CD drive. Everytime when I try closing the CD door, it makes this wierd scratching nosie like the door doesn't want to go all the way in. The CD goes in and all but in the middle of the installing process i get an error message saying theres no CD in the drive, and it starts to make weird scrathing noises like the CD is grinding in the drive. It only installs all the way when i press on the left side of the door, thats where i noticed the problem that the door is just barley in there. What do you all think the problem is? Could it be something is not fully mounted in the drive? Or am I gunna have to take my 5th notebook back to best buy so they can give me another one? Thanks. Word of advice... Don't buy Emachines!!!!!! they give u very bad times.

Either it's assembled wrong. Or the drive is screwed and that screeching is it's death cry.
