So what's everyone excited to see come out of CES this year?

I'm hoping we are getting closer to high refresh rate, high resolution HDR G-Sync monitors. They were shown at CES last year but have been delayed a few times since so I hope to see more progress on that front.

I also hope that OLED continues to make strides (particularly in the getting cheaper category) as this year is probably when I'll be replacing the TV. It's getting rather old.

They seem to just show off the same sorts of things these don't they? For the last few years it just seems to be OLED, Curved Screens, 4K, 8K....

I don't find it too exciting anymore. I think we must be at some sort of limit.

Yeah, tech is getting good enough to where there's not much want for more advancement in a lot of areas.

As for me, I'd like to see more affordable 4k Free-sync/G-sync monitors. But it's doubtful that that'd be something showcased at CES.

I want cheaper RAM, cheaper monitors and cheaper GPU's.

Maybe I'll get one of the three.

I mainly want cheaper GPU's and cheaper monitors.  I've been wanting to replace my graphics and screens for a few years now.  My setup is way behind the times...

I think you boys missed the point of CES.

It's all about the new, more expensive shit.

I like the new Dell XPS 15:

I owned the 2016 version of the XPS 15 for a few years, pretty good laptop.

Really like the Samsung "wall" tv though I doubt it's going to to market any time soon and if it does it's going to be very expensive.

Has a lot of the benefits and not as many downsides as OLED which is still the king right now.
