Posted by RadioActiveLobster Really like the Samsung "wall" tv though I doubt it's going to to market any time soon and if it does it's going to be very expensive.
Has a lot of the benefits and not as many downsides as OLED which is still the king right now.
The only thing with them is the ribbon cable, the day they can make that part of it completely wireless somehow that'll be when we're living in the future with hover cars and pills for dinner.

I don't think "The Wall" tv concept they showed off uses ribbon cables. It's a modular TV setup. They had a 146" screen but since it uses modular pieces you could make a smaller or larger screen theoretically.

No but the rollable tv was pretty cool as well. That was LG though IIRC.
